Brazil, 1977. Marcelo, a technology expert in his early 40s, is on the run. He arrives in Recife during carnival week, hoping to reunite with his son but soon realizes that the city is far from being the non violent refuge he seeks.

In the name of economic recovery, the Brazilian Government created a perennial system of compulsory vertical isolation for seniors over 80 to be confined in a colony. Teca is 77 and lives in the village of Muriti, in the Amazon, when she is surprised by the announcement of the age reduction, including her age group. Cornered, Teca makes an intriguing journey hidden from the officers amidst rivers, boats and the underworld to clandestinely try to fulfill her last dream, to take a plane ride.

At a bar table, old samba singer and composer Adoniran Barbosa tells a young waiter stories about a São Paulo that no longer exists. He fondly remembers the maloca where he lived with Joca and Mato Grosso, their passion for Iracema and other characters eternalized in his sambas, chronicles of a metropolis swallowed up by the voracious appetite of progress.

The fantastic and amusing journey of our favorite “anti-hero”, Raimundo Nonato (João Miguel), and his philosophical-culinary adventures continues. Fifteen years after the events of the first film, Nonato has become the chef of chefs in prison, charming both the prison warden and the veteran inmate leader (Paulo Miklos) with his culinary talent and savory wit. Until a third boss, the Italian mobster Dom Caroglio (Nicola Siri), arrives to wrest control of the prison and the privilege of being served by the charismatic chef. At the same time, we discover the twisted roads that transformed the quiet son of the owner of a Brazilian restaurant in southern Italy into the powerful boss who, years later, comes to Brazil to challenge organized crime because of Nonato.

On the eve of a future-defining championship, promising volleyball player Sofia (17) is faced with an unwanted pregnancy. Seeking an illegal termination, she becomes the target of a fundamentalist group determined to stop her at any cost – but neither Sofia nor those who love her are willing to surrender to the blind fervor of the swarm.

In a large community on the outskirts of Brazil called “Grande Sertão”, the fight between policemen and criminals takes on the atmosphere of war and brings up issues such as loyalty, life and death, love and courage. Riobaldo (Caio Blat) gets into crime out of love for Diadorim (Luisa Arraes), but never has the guts to reveal his love. The story, narrated by Riobaldo, is marked by the presence of an enigmatic character, Diadorim, who becomes a great friend of his and arouses complicated feelings. Diadorim’s identity is a constant mystery for Riobaldo, who deals with moral choices and ethical dilemmas as he seeks to understand his place in the world and his own nature. One evening, Marco (Fábio Porchat, A Man Amidst Bees, 2015) and Laura (Sandy Leah, When I Was Alive, 2014) meet at a karaoke bar and sing the song Evidências together. Since then, they have fallen in love and formed a couple that seemed perfect, until the moment they said “I do”. Without understanding what happened, now, every time this song plays, Marco will travel through his memories with Laura to face the evidences of love. With Evelyn Castro and Larissa Luz.

Aumenta que é Rock’n’Roll is the story of Luiz Antônio, a clumsy broadcaster who unexpectedly finds himself in charge of a bankrupt radio station that is falling apart. Relying solely on his passion for rock and roll and a crazy team, he creates one of the most emblematic radio stations in the history of Brazilian rock music, Fluminense FM. Between guitar solos and signal interference, we follow the adventures and misadventures of Luiz, who also falls in love with a married announcer. Starring George Sauma, João Vitor Silva, Marina Provenzzano, Orã Figueiredo and Adriano Garib.

The 75-minute animation will feature Rodrigo Santoro (7 Prisoners, 2021), Natália Lage (Sunday Night, 2022) and Guilherme Briggs (Chef Jack: The Adventurous Cook, 2023). It tells the stories of a woman with weird superpowers, a turtle with obsessive-compulsive disorder and a cloud with rain incontinence on an unusual journey to the depths of the ocean.
